On June 26, 2024, a working meeting of members of the Eurasian Association of Constitutional Control Bodies was held in St. Petersburg, chaired by Judge of the Constitutional Court of Kazakhstan S. Udartsev and Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation A. Kokotov.
The meeting participants exchanged views on issues of cooperation with the media, as well as on the criteria for the admissibility of a constitutional complaint. The issues of preparing and holding the next Congress of the Eurasian Association in August-September 2026 in Astana, as well as holding a meeting of the Committee of the Eurasian Association in the fall of 2024 and organizing an online training seminar for employees of the constitutional control bodies of nine member countries of this organization were considered.
Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan S.Udartsev noted that in the context of modern global challenges, cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Association is becoming particularly important, facilitating the exchange of valuable information and experience in the field of upholding the principles of the rule of law, constitutionalism and, ultimately, strengthening the rule of law in the participating countries.
On October 11-12, 2024, Narxoz University hosted the international scientific and practical conference “Constitutional Economics: an interdisciplinary branch of humanitarian Knowledge and a multidisciplinary training course”, organized by the Eurasian Institute of Economic and Legal Studies of Narxoz University.
As part of this event, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with Narxoz University, organized a seminar of the Eurasian Association of Constitutional Control Bodies (members of the Association are Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan) on the topic: “Citizens’ appeals to constitutional control bodies: criteria for admissibility.”
The event significantly expanded the geography of the conference participants. Chairperson of the Constitutional Court E.Azimova noted that combining integration efforts in the format of this platform will contribute to raising legal awareness of legislation, familiarization with the practice of the member states and the exchange of experience.


Seminar on “Citizens’ appeals to the constitutional control bodies: criteria of admissibility” with the participation of judges and staff of the constitutional courts – members of the Association
On June 17, 2025, a meeting of the Committee of Members of the Eurasian Association of Constitutional Control Bodies was held on the sidelines of an international conference dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Constitutional Court of the Kyrgyz Republic. Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan and Russia participated.
